Purpose: To prepare more students for post-secondary education or training. Ben Davis University High School will maintain the school district’s focus on personalized education by redefining the high school experience and closing socioeconomic achievement gaps, while helping students develop a sense of purpose for completing high school.
Mission Statement: Ben Davis University High School, a partnership between the MSD of Wayne Township and Vincennes University, will provide rigorous, innovative educational programming designed for students who excel in a small and supportive academic environment, culminating in a high school diploma and associate’s degree.
Enrollment: As of 2021-22 – 387 students enrolled
School Hours: 9:15 a.m. – 4:10 p.m.
Office Hours: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Facility: Ben Davis University High School opened in August, 2007 at the former Ben Davis Junior High
Staff: 18 teachers, 10 VU Adjunct professors, plus office staff, student services, nurse, cooks, custodians, and administrators
