First Ever Season of BDU Esports a Huge Success

The weekend of May 14th brought an end to our first ever season of BDU Esports. All of our teams did well and improved over the course of the season, but our Overwatch team especially excelled!

These kids grew so much as a team in terms of communication and teamwork, and despite having a rough start to the season as well as numerous setbacks, they made it all the way to the state championship semi-finals! The team, a few spectators, Mr. Dimmick, and Mr. East got on a bus this past Saturday at 5 AM to travel to South Bend to play at the Bendix Esports arena located in their convention center. Although the kids lost their semifinal (to our rival Speedway!), it was an amazing experience and still tons of fun.
