Attention Juniors- BDU is hosting a Junior College Planning Night NEXT MONDAY, February 13th from 6:00-7:30pm in the Community Room. InvestEd will be here for all of your college planning and financial needs and concerns. We hope to see you and your family there!

Attention BDU scholars- If you received an application for National Honor Society, please complete them and turn them in by this Thursday, February 9th for consideration. These are due to Mr. Chandler or Mrs. Winston.

Congratulations to the BDU Model United Nations team for a successful conference on Saturday! We had record turnout as we hosted teams from four other high schools from around the state. All of the BDU delegates performed well, but special congratulations to Yvonne Ajiko for winning an Honorable Mention award. We have one more conference this year in April, so if you are interested in participating in Model UN, please see Mr. Dimmick for more information.

Attention Juniors- Dress for Success is THIS Wednesday, February 8th- remember this is mandatory. You must stay dressed all day in order to receive credit. Please see your Advisory teacher if you have any questions.

Attention NHS members- our February meeting will be held THIS Wednesday, February 8th in the cafeteria during SRT. Please be sure to check in with your SRT teacher before going to the cafeteria. We hope to see you there!

Attention BDU- the U-Cafe is super excited to host a Valentine’s Dinner on Tuesday, February 14th. Enjoy homemade food, live music, desserts, and photos. It will definitely be a night to remember. Reservation tickets will be sold before school and during lunch in the U-Cafe. Tickets are $3/couple and $5 for groups of 3 or more.

Do you have a friend that you would like to surprise for Valentine’s Day? The International Key Club will be selling candy, chocolate flowers, raffle tickets, and grams starting on January 23rd and will last until February 10th. Candy is 50 cents; chocolate flowers are $1, 5 raffle tickets for $1, and valentine’s grams for $5. These will be sold during lunch periods and SRT. For more information, ask Mrs. Jzar.

Attention BDU scholars- SAT Math Prep with Mr. Christianson is now on Thursdays after school until 5:30. Pizza will be served during the study sessions! Be sure to email Mr. Christianson or complete the Google Form to reserve your spot and your pizza! Get prepared for the SAT that is happening on March 1st!
